Safeguarding Information:

All teachers who work in collaboration with MJN Academy of English will be required to have Safeguarding Training, for the safety and protection of our students and for themselves as teachers.
All classes will be recorded on Zoom. This is important for the safety and protection of our students and teachers. Recordings will be monitored periodically to assess the teacher's effectiveness in the classroom, and to view any disputes and/or breaches of the Code of Conduct.

Code of Conduct:

Our code of conduct is in place to protect our teachers and students. If a student breaks the code of conduct during class or email communications, they will be removed from classes immediately.

Be kind and respectful to the teacher and other students at all times
Have your camera on at all times during the class
Respect each other's backgrounds, cultures and opinions
No eating, smoking or drinking alcohol during class

The following behaviours are not permitted at MJN Academy of English:

Discrimination in any form (eg. race, religion, culture, gender and sexual orientation)
Cultural insensitivity
Aggressive behaviour
Inappropriate language
Bullying
Harassment
